Did it react badly with my skin?

I have sensitive and easily irritated skin. This eyeshadow, however, did not react badly with my skin. I have oily skin as well, so my eyelids tend to get oily throughout the day. But this product stayed vibrant, creaseless, and perfect on my eyes.

How much is it?

I bought this palette at Sydney Mecca, for 70 dollars.

Is it worth the price?

There is a wide range of colours in the palette with 16 shades. There are matte and shimmer shades of natural brown, pink and plum suitable for a natural daily look, to a glam night time look. The shadows are also super pigmented. If you calculate the price for per shadow, it comes down to only 4.3 dollars. If I look at it from this perspective, I think this palette will definitely worth the price.

Easily blendable?

Yes definitely!! These shadows are generally very easy to blend, I can use my fingers to apply them and still get the perfect result. The powders are very soft and fine, and they will blend so easily on the lids.

However, there are two dark shades in there that I find a bit harder to blend compare to the other ones. They are “Gilded Ganache” and “Black Forest Truffle”. They are both the shimmer dark shades in the palette. I need to work extra hard and blend them in more carefully.

The rest of the shades, though, are perfect and blends like a dream!

Are they longlasting?

I’ve worn these shadows for two weeks now, and personally, I think they can last the whole day. I finished my makeup at 11am and came back home at 10pm. It’s summer in Australia at the moment, so I was sweating and secreting oil like crazy throughout the day. By the end of the day, my eye makeup still looked really good! The colours did not fade much, didn’t notice any fallouts, and no creasing on my lids! Keep in mind that I did not use an eye primer, but I did set it with some setting spray. But overall, I was really impressed by the longevity of this palette. Big big thumbs up!!

Will I ever repurchase it?

Yes, I will!! I love this palette, and I can see myself using it a lot in the future. I don’t think I will hit pan very soon, but if it did, I will definitely repurchase.
